Auxanometer

The auxanometer was invented by V.J. Koningsberger in the early 1900’s to measure plant growth. The plant apex is attached to the apparatus, and as the plant’s height increases, the dial moves to directly give the magnitude of growth. I wanted to unearth this antiquated, somewhat useless piece of equipment and place it in an context where very few would recognise it .
